Jude Nemo is a Boston area singer/songwriter who draws on influences from jazz, folk, rock and electronica, wielding a unique sound through innovative songwriting and intricate guitarwork. His solo live performances are described by fans as “acoustic looping and rocking,” referring to his unique use of a sampler to overlay percussive acoustic guitar and vocal tracks into one energetic, emotional soundscape. Jude’s full band delivers energetic, pensive performances of his catchy songs. The trio, rounded out by drummer Colby Kuzontkoski and bassist Justin Panariello, plays percussive, acoustic rock comparable to early Dave Matthews Band, Toad The Wet Sprocket, The John Mayer Trio, and The Police. Jude’s prior experience includes Traveling Matt, where he was the singer/lead guitarist from 1998 - 2002 and played at various venues throughout the Northeast. In 2003, Jude formed Satellite, Boston’s first Dave Matthews tribute band. As a result of Jude’s success in this market, he was recruited as the lead singer/guitarist for the New York-based Dave Matthews tribute band, One Sweet World. During 2003 - 2005, Jude toured extensively with his band and the two tribute groups throughout the Eastern United States, playing for venues of up to 8,000 people. While Jude has enjoyed this success, his passion is his original material, which he is now focused on performing at a variety of popular college and club venues.
